Community Story Telling

Tamil Literature & Arts Society

This is to inform you that our organisation Australian Tamil Literature & Arts Society, is organising a ‘Community Story Telling’ event involving the South Asian communities in Melbourne on 16th ( Saturday)August, 2014 at the String Theological College, 44-80 Jackson Road , Mulgrave 3170 at 5 pm.
‘Community Story Telling’ is a concept where people from different South Asian communities share their personal experiences and stories with each other to create bonds of friendship and companionship. This is likely to help create positive thinking and action towards a better society. Hence the need to freely express stories which are part of our life.
These personal stories will be recorded and shared in the community. Each speaker will get 5 minutes to tell their story.
This event is supported by the Victorian Multicultural Commission (VMC).
I invite you to come and share your story with us and make this event a success. RSVP at – uthayam@optusnet.com.au or at 0411 606 767.

Thanking you.
Warm regards.
